Workload

Today was a little depressing, simply because i was not able to finish my workload. On the surface, it seems inoxious. I have tomorrow to finish up the week’s worth of documents, and if all goes well my weekends would be a time to laze around and cool off the heat generated from those menacing calls and lectures from superiors (fishing trip included this week). However, such a delay has caused incipient concerns which i must tend to:

  1. I am still not proficient enough in handling my daily duties.
  2. I have become too relaxed at work (using the msn, listening to radio blogs, surfing and working simultaneously). We all know multi-tasking decreases productive effeciency.
  3. I have not been getting enough rest.

I have to deal with this problems immediately, as the SAF functions progressively (meaning work gets harder and becomes more important). If i fail to iron out these problems now, procrastination would start to surface. When this comes into effect, I would definitely have to face the wraith of my superiors, especially when workload peaks around April (as you can see, i do not have much time left to learn). Therefore, i conclude that i have yet to attain the discipline needed as a Admin Support Assistant, and have to infuse into myself the proper work ethics through culmination. I hope such delays would not happen again.

Pertaining to my religious activities, i am still unable to play the songs required for performance on Good Friday at a satisfactory level. I have to be able to regale with the lord as my focus. So far, i have not succeed, and my work assignment and working hours, coupled with the distance needed to travel to and from officee to home seems to stymie my aim of using my fullest ability to glory god. I pray that god can give me wisdom and help me create time to practise sufficiently so that I can praise his worthy name.

I began to ponder in trepidation about the prospect of the coming weeks. I hope I can adapt to these changes in my life soon.
