Army life finally starts

I must say i am really new at blogging, and my nescience of how wordpress works caused me to exhaust 30 minutes to figure out how to start an entry and type till here. Hopefully it would not be as arduous for the next entry.

I had to go CMPB in the morning to receive my posting (again). Having already experienced a day of waiting in agog for my unit while sitting in a conference room for a whole day, i have learnt from my mistake of not having anything with me to do. Therefore, i brought a book, pen and paper, and a Risk board game just in case any of the other enlistees in the room (14 altogether) decided to use their brain a bit in an effort to conquer the world map. My stay in the conference room was cut short however, and i was brought to my new unit straight after lunch. I am now officially an Admin Support Asisstant (aka clerk) working in the National Servicemen Service Centre. My job seems torpid, handling deferment from people. I do hope my (so far) monotonous NSF experience ( consisting mostly of waiting for my posting) would become hectic soon (i cannot believe i am saying this). fortunately, the people within the NSSC seem to be nice people, and the head of the department seems to be a reasonable boss (although he was captious about me spreading the gospel in the SAF). With my unit in comity, i think i would be able to adapt quickly to my posting and be of use to them as soon as possible.

Even though i work in the administrative side of the SAF, the aggressive army lexicon seem to still exist around here. Therefore, i must put in the brobdingnagian amount of effort needed to ensure i do not scold vulgarities, as it is incontrovertible that vuglarities are bad and saying it is to the lord’s displeasure.

All in all, i pray that i would begin to feel effusive of my work, and emite this spirit throughout the whole unit. Also, i would like to take this time there as a god-sent opportunity to ameliorate myself and become a better persona, and be able to bring glory to the lord.
